Riley's Birthday Party!
Whew, does anyone have some Advil? lol! We celebrated Riley's birthday on Friday ....it was a lot of fun! Luckily the weather was nice, so they were outside most of the time, but they did come in the house for the "Candy Bar Game" ... one of our favorites!
Here is how you play, just in case you haven't ever played before:
Get as many different kinds of candy bars as you can find. Then get in a circle, and roll 2 dice. If you get a 7 or 11, then you get to choose a candy bar from the center (doubles and you roll again) ... Then you pass the dice to the next player. If they roll a 7 or 11, then they can take your candy bar, or they can choose one from the center. BUT (here's the catch), they have to remember what kind of candybar you have (or they don't get anything) .... You play until all the candy bars are gone.
It is an easy game to do with a big group, but gets a little crazy! (in a fun way!) .... (I usually have a little stash set away for those unlucky rollers who don't get anything)
Anyway, we had a great time! Thanks to all those boys who came and made Riley's birthday so great!
